The Fort Amherst grounds are open to visitors daily until 7pm from April 1st. The Car Park and lower fortifications are closed on Sunday until further notice.
Created by the Medway Healthy Walks initiative, this is a Quest around Fort Amherst and the 20 acres of green space on offer there. Explore tunnels, ditches, ammunition magazines, cannons, soldier’s quarters and fortifications. A healthy walk with a historical twist!
